Injured Pirojpur journo admitted to DMCH
Pirojpur Correspondent of the daily Inqilab and Baishakhi TV Jahirul Haque Titu, who was critically injured following an attack by BNP-Jamaat cadres, has been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Tuesday, says a press release issued by Pirojpur Press Club. Titu, along with some other journalists in Pirojpur, was injured on December 28 as the BNP-Jamaat cadres swooped on the journalists in a bid to foil their scheduled human chain. In this connection, a case was filed against 19 people but none has been arrested till date.
