AL-BNP clash leaves 20 hurt in Chandpur

Around 20 people were injured in a clash between Awami League and BNP activists in Kochua Sadar yesterday afternoon.Witnesses said the clash occurred at about 3:00pm when BNP activists allegedly attacked a rally of Chhatra League, student wing of AL. The BCL activists staged the rally in protest of Wednesday's attac1k on them. Injured people were taken to Kochua Hospital. Additional police force and army personnel were deployed in the area to avert law and order deterioration.
