Recruitment process of edn project suspended

The recruitment process of Secondary Education Sector Development Project (SESDP) has been suspended following The Daily Star report headlined 'Move on to recruit 782 in education project on political ground' published on January 9.The viva voce of the candidates could not be held since January 13, education ministry sources said. A syndicate working in the education ministry and Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) was trying to recruit 782 BNP-Jamaat-minded people in Asian Development Bank (ADB)-funded SESDP project without holding written test. However, the authority has stopped the recruitment process after the report was published.
