Expat meets tragic death
SM Farhad Chowdhury (Rajib), son of Md Selim Chowdhury, owner of Agrani Steel Corp, died in a tragic road accident at the age of only 27 while on way to Cox's Bazar along with his friends.

The private car carrying Rajib and his friends collided with a bus at Chakaria at 7:30pm on January 13, says a press release.

Rajib joined Nokia Networks in Sydney, Australia after he completed M Sc in Telecommunication Engineering and MBA from University of Technology Sydney.

He came to Bangladesh only a month ago on the occasion of Eid and was about to get married soon.

Rajib left behind his father, mother and a host of relatives and friends.

He was laid to eternal rest at his village home in Kanchan Nagar, Fatikchhari in Chittagong.

His qulkhwani will be held on Friday (January 19) at noon at his village home.
