Police said the joint forces' team raided the cattle market at about 2:00pm and arrested seven criminals involved in grabbing the land of Mosaddek Hossain Sabu, chief engineer of the Roads and Highways Department in Khulna.

The arrested are identified as Ibrahim Hossain, organising secretary of Shahapur union Swechchhasebak League, Jubo League leader Rashedul Islam, and Awami League activists Ramzan Ali, Airul, Dollar, Murad and Shamsul Islam.
