Valuables worth Tk 5.6 lakh looted from city shop

Unknown thieves stole valuables worth around Tk 5.6 lakh from a shop at Sutrapur in the city in the early hours of yesterday.Al Amin, owner of Al Amin Store of Nanda Dutta Lane, filed a theft case of 400 pieces o f saree, 100 pieces of dresses, and 50 pieces of fatua worth Tk 5,59,570 with Sutrapur Police Station, police said. Police suspect the event took place at late night between 9:30pm to 7:00am yesterday. The locals in the morning seeing the door of the shop open informed Amin at around 7:30am, police said.
