Referring to the High Court injunction, Bapa in a statement said the playgrounds of the city have to be preserved for the interest of mental and physical growth of children and youth.

The cities are becoming unhealthy and unsuitable for living due to unplanned urbanisation and management, the statement added.

Bapa demanded intervention of the government for protecting the grabbed land and necessary measures for its maintenance.
