Bayern bid for Altintop

Turkish international midfielder Hamit Altintop has received an official offer from Bundesliga club Bayern Munich, his coach at Schalke 04 Mirko Slomka confirmed Thursday.Altintop, 24, who joined Schalke 04 in 2003, has however denied signing a contract with the Bavarian club. His contact at the Gelsen-kirchen club runs out at the end of the season. Bayern are fourth in the Bundesliga 11 points behind leaders Schalke 04.
