Kabir Chowdhury to receive Tagore Peace Award
Eminent intellectual and National Professor Kabir Chowdhury will be honoured with Tagore Peace Award by the Asiatic Society, India, says a press release. The award will be given in appreciation of his significant contribution to development of human understanding and promoting global peace based on ideals of humanism and pacifism.The award giving ceremony will take place in Kolkata on May 7.
