A gang of muggers robbed a businessman of Tk 2 lakh after stabbing him at Tipu Sultan Road in old part of the city yesterday afternoon.

Nizamuddin, 40, a cloth trader at Islampur, was going to his shop by a rickshaw after collecting the money from different shops at Postogola, but the muggers intercepted his rickshaw near the Christian cemetery at Tipu Sultan Road at around 3:15pm.
