DCs asked to submit reports on law officers' performances

The law ministry yesterday instructed the deputy commissioners (DCs) to send performance reports of the government law officers to the ministry.

Solicitor wing of the law ministry sent letters to the deputy commissioners, asking them to report the performance of the law officers, their experience, skill and honesty.

In absence of eligible law officers, the DCs were asked to send a list of skilled, honest and efficient lawyers to appoint as new law officers, according to handout.
