Titas Gas disconnects 10 subscribers
Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company yesterday disconnected ten of its commercial and industrial subscribers on charge of illegal activities in Elephant Road and Mirpur areas in the city, says a press release. The disconnected business enterprises are Bhagyakul Mishtanna Bhandar, Ruchita Hotel and Restaurant, Dhanshiri Hotel and Restaurant, Friends Hotel and Restaurant, Lapaco, Bikrampur Tire and Retrazing Factory and Savar Mishtanna Bhandar. The disconnected industrial connections are Hasan Textile, Shapla Screen and Dying Printers and Khayer Uddin Metal Industries. Notably, Titas Gas authorities started drives against illegal activities of some of its commercial subscribers on February 1 and so far cut 97 connections.
