Citigroup to list on Tokyo bourse

US financial giant Citigroup Inc. plans to list on the Tokyo Stock Exchange by the end of this year, making it the first American firm to do so in six years, a news report said Sunday. The firm has already begun preparing for the listing, which Citigroup sees as essential for its expansion plans in Japan, the Nikkei business daily said citing an unnamed company executive.
