Fire breaks out at city shoe factory: 3 hurt

A fire broke out in a shoe factory at Hazaribagh area in the city yesterday, injuring three workers. The fire originated from chemicals in the factory. Billal Hossain, 20, Mohammad Alam, 22 and Jewel, 18 were injured while they working at Rahat Shoe Factory at Abdul Aziz Lane at Nababganj at 4:30pm. They were rushed to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) in critical condition. The workers doused the fire in a few minutes.
