Kuwati envoy meets Hasina

Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdul Latif Ali Al-Mawash called on Awami League President Sheikh Hasina at her 'Sudha Sadan' residence yesterday and discussed the overall situation of the country.After the half-hour meeting, AL presidium member Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim told reporters that the Kuwaiti ambassador gave Hasina an invitation card for attending a ceremony at the Kuwait Embassy in Dhaka on February 22 marking the 16th anniversary of liberation of the country. AL leaders Saber Hossain Chowdhury, Kazi Jafarullah and former ambassadors Ziauddin and M Zamir were present during the meeting.
