Batting first, Surjo Torun scored 241-7 in 50 overs but Kathalbagan made a game of it before being bowled out in the final over for 223 runs.

All-rounder James batted patiently but then accelerated in the latter overs. He finished with 94 off 108 balls with four boundaries and three big sixes.
