Retired banker Bruce Aanensen is to become the new chief executive officer of the West Indies Cricket Board after Roland Toppin withdrew from the post. Toppin was announced as the successor to Roger Brathwaite in November, and due to start earlier this year. But he tried to move his office from Antigua to his native Bahamas, a request which was refused by the WICB. Aanensen has previous commercial experience with the Trinidad and Tobago football team at the 2006 World Cup.
