The former CA suffered serious injuries in his left thigh joint as he slipped onto the floor at a Chittagong hotel on Thursday morning.

An official release said the president stayed there for some time and inquired about his treatment. Iajuddin also prayed for his early recovery.

Consultant Surgeon of the Armed Forces Major General Ali Akbar apprised the president of the treatment of Justice Rahman.

Iajuddin gave directive to the hospital authority and physicians concerned to take "necessary steps for the better treatment" of Justice Rahman.
