Chinese envoy meets Khaleda

Outgoing Chinese Ambassador Chai Shi paid a farewell call on BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at Hawa Bhaban yesterday evening and discussed ways to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between the two countries.Emerging from the meeting, the Chinese envoy told reporters in Bengali that the BNP and the Communist Party of China (CPC) have relationship for a long time and they talked about how to strengthen it. "We also discussed as to how the bilateral relationship between China and Bangladesh could be strengthened," he said. About the meeting, BNP Chairperson's adviser Reaz Rahman told the reporters that it was a farewell call and they discussed ways to bolster the relations between the two countries.
