Unilever provides basic health service to people of Kalurghat
Unilever Bangladesh (UBL) inaugurated a two-day health care programme titled "Unilever Community Health Care Service" to provide basic health care to the people of Kalurghat in Chittagong, says a press release.

The programme began at 9:00am in the morning.

Free general check-ups were conducted by the Diabetic Association of Chittagong and the Chittagong Lions Eye Hospital performed eye check-ups and provided treatment at a discounted rate, where required.

Chittagong's Maa Shishu O' General Hospital provided treatment to cases of mothers and little children. The programme was organised by Char Rangamatia Government Primary School and was held on school premises.

Unilever Bangladesh has several on-going initiatives in the area of health that includes the 'Lifebuoy Friendship Hospital' and 'Pepsodent Dentibus'.
