February 26, 2007       Star City Gulshan Avenue building owners' rejoinder Hafeezuddin Ahmad, owner of 102, Gulshan Avenue and Raqibul Kabir, Managing Director of Shoppers World in two separate rejoinders to The Star City yesterday protested a report headlined "Rajuk bulldozer rocks Gulshan Avenue " published on February 25, 2007. They stated that they had paid required conversion fees and obtained Rajuk clearances before using their premises for commercial purposes. The rejoinder also contained documents showing bank receipts for the conversion fees and Rajuk clearances. They said that the report mentioning their structures as 'without Rajuk clearance for commercial use' was therefore not based on facts.
