Most of the outstanding young talents expressed their desire to serve the nation through establishing themselves in different fields, mainly science and technology. The nation builders of tomorrow dream of a poverty-free Bangladesh and are committed to work to take the country to a prestigious position in the world. "I dream of a poverty-free Bangladesh which will be considered a power house in economic and education sectors," said Ahsan Mosharraf Barkatullah of Scholastica, who got the highest marks in seven subjects with 10 A's in the O level examinations without having to take the exams more than once. He wants to study economics and become a great economist to serve the nation. "We can only repay by serving the country and by making it prosperous," Ahsan said. "I want to be an aerospace engineer or an economist," said Raqeebul Islam of International Turkish Hope who secured five A's in the A level examinations. Expressing his feelings to The Daily Star he paid high respect to his father Foizul Islam and to his mother who, in his words, contributed the most in his achieving brilliant results. "I must come back home and serve the nation after finishing my studies abroad," Raqeeb said. Mehnaz Mannan secured ten A's in the O level examinations from Scholastica. She wants to go abroad to become an engineer and come back home to dedicate herself to nation building activities. Another holder of ten A's, Wasifa Zamal of Sunbeams, wishes to become a pilot like her father. "I am impressed by the honour accorded to us by the premier English daily The Daily Star." "I obtained outstanding marks because I worked hard," said Russell Mahmood who wishes to become a pharmacist. Mahmood of Oxford International School observed that only hard work can make a person successful. Promit Barua of Chittagong Grammar School was very excited about his nine A's in the O level examinations. He dreams of a good career in psychology and film making. Talking to The Daily Star, Fahad Ibn Azam said he wants to study bio-technology. Azam got the highest marks in human biology and biology.
