ALCWC meets today

Awami League (AL) holds its Central Working Committee (ALCWC) meeting today to discuss the latest political situation and party reforms. The meeting will be held at the party's Dhanmondi office with AL President Sheikh Hasina in the chair. AL Joint General Secretary Obaidul Quader told The Daily Star yesterday that they would discuss the overall political situation of the country. Issues like party reforms will also come up, he said. Moreover, the meeting will chalk out elaborate programmes to observe the historic March 7, the birth anniversary of Bangabandhu sheikh Mujibur Rahman on March 17 and the Independence Day on March 26.
