Blood Donation Programme at EWU
East West University held a day-long blood donation programme for Spring Semester 2007 at the ground floor of its Foundation Building in the city on Wednesday, says a press release.The Medical Centre, Social and Environmental Club and Rotaract Club of East West University in collaboration with Bangladesh Red Crescent Society organised the programme inaugurated by Jalaluddin Ahmed, president, Board of Directors. Acting Vice-Chancellor Dr Mohammad Musa and Joint Registrar Suraiya Ahmad were also present. The programme was aimed at raising public awareness about the need for regular blood donations, encouraging new and re-energising current donors and helping reduce blood crises in the country.
