Film artiste Rosy passes away

Noted film artiste Rosy Afsari died of kidney failure at Birdem Hospital in the city at 4:30 pm yesterday. She was 60.Family sources said she was suffering from kidney disease for the last four years. The first Namaz-e-Janaza of Rosy Afsari, wife of filmmaker Malek Afsari, will be held at 11:00am today at Purana Paltan while the second one at 12:15pm at Film Development Corporation (FDC). Later, she will be buried at Banani Graveyard. BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia yesterday expressed her deep shock at the death of Rosy Afsari. She prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed her sympathy to the members of the bereaved family. In a separate message, BNP Secretary General Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan also expressed deep shock at the death of Rosy.
