Concern over death threat to Adviser Matin

Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad yesterday expressed deep concern over a death threat to liberation war affairs ministry Adviser Maj Gen (Retd) MA Matin and his family members by certain quarters. In a joint statement, Sangsad Chairman Principal Abdul Ahad Chowdhury and Secretary General Md Salahuddin Ahmed said freedom fighters of the country welcome Matin's firm stand against the criminals, corrupts, godfathers and black money holders. The freedom fighters would not tolerate any conspiracy against Matin, the statement added. They also demanded immediate identification of those involved in issuing the death threat and their exemplary punishment, the release added.
