Two get death in drug case

A Dhaka court yesterday sentenced two people to death in a drug case. Judge Aman Ullah of the Fourth Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court handed down the verdict to Shyamal Dulal Devnath and Saiful Islam of Mirzaganj in Patuakhali. According to the prosecution, a team of law enforcement agencies arrested the two with one Kg of heroin during a pre-dawn raid on a house at Senpara Parbata in Mirpur on July 11 last year.
