Anisur Rahman, On e-mail I am concerned about unplanned industrialisation in our country. Chittagong is a port city so it is natural to build up big factories here, but some factories have been set up in densely populated areas. Besides, most of the factories have no effluent discharge or treatment systems. As a result, the environment is being polluted. I am not against industrialisation. For retaining sustainable development, we need industries, but our environmental needs must not be overlooked.
