Sonar Bangla TV asked to stop broadcasting

The information ministry yesterday directed Sonar Bangla Television Ltd authorities to stop broadcast in Bangladesh immediately. According to a ministry handout, the private television channel was operating without permission. As per Rules of Business-1996, any channel has to take permission from the information ministry before going for broadcast.
