Tax ombudsman submits report to president

Tax Ombudsman Khairuzzaman Chowdhury submitted the annual report of 2006 to President Iajuddin Ahmed at Bangabhaban yesterday, an official handout said.During the submission of the report, the tax ombudsman appraised the president of various tax-related issues. The president urged the ombudsman to take necessary steps for further development of the tax structure and assured him of providing his all-out support in this regard.
