International Master Abdullah Al Rakib maintained his solo lead in the 33rd National Chess Championship after his 10th round win over FM Taibur Rahman at the NSC hall-room yesterday. Rakib's win took him to 8.5 points while GM Ziaur Rahman was shocked by Aminul Islam, who won his first IM norm on the previous day. Zia now shares the second place with IM Enamul Hossain Rajib on seven points.
