Plastic trader dies in rooftop fall

A plastic trader died after he fell from the roof of a seven-storey building in old part of the city yesterday. The dead was identified as Al Amin, 25, son of Saidul Haq. Police said Al Amin, a resident of the seven-story building at Rajanighosh Lane in Kotwali, went to the roof at around 2:30pm and fell off the rooftop suddenly and landed in the adjacent hostel. He died on the spot. No one knows how he fell from the roof.
