New VC of Hajee Danesh university

Professor Md. Ruhul Amin has been appointed yesterday as short-term Vice Chancellor (VC) of Hajee Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) .HSTU sources said the post of Vice Chancellor was vacant following the resignation of former VC Dr. Mohammad Motahar Hossain Mondol on April 8. He resigned form the post protesting the alleged corruption and nepotism of his predecessor. According to HSTU official the university is passing through a crisis due to alleged corruption by some officials during the past government.
