After the meeting, VC Prof SMA Fiaz told the newsmen that the university would continue its efforts until all fake admissions are identified.

The meeting, however, did not withdraw different quotas which are the main loopholes for fake admission.

"It is very sensitive issue and a matter of government decisions," said the VC.

A total of 24 departments and institutes submitted their revision report at the meeting.

The public administration department in its report said it has identified 33 fake students in 2004-05 session which is yet to be verified.

"We have got some irregularities which will be confirmed after scrutiny," said Prof AFM Yusuf Haider, pro-vice-chancellor.

The Institute of Education and Research has identified a student who took admission in freedom fighters' quota by submitting a fake certificate.
