Khulna power plant trips again

The 110-megawatt power plant in Khulna went out of order just three hours after it restarted at 7:45 pm on Wednesday following a repair.

This is the fifth time that the power plant broke down in the last 45 days, sources at Goalpara power station said.

The last breakdown of the plant took place on the evening of April 22 due to leakage in boiler tubes.

It will take at least three or four days to put the power plant into operation again after repairing, the sources said.
