11 clinics, labs fined in Gazipur

Five clinics, six diagnostic centres and several drug stores in Gazipur were fined Tk 2.75 lakh yesterday for selling date-expired medicines and not having registration and licence. Two mobile courts led by Magistrate Mahmudul Kabir Murad and Nurunnahar Begum fined the establishments during raids in Chandna intersection area at noon. The mobile courts also sealed off seven medicine shops as the owners closed the shops hurriedly to avoid the raid.
