Maj Akhtar declared persona non grata in cantonments

Army headquarters has declared former BNP lawmaker Maj (Retd) Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman persona non grata in all the cantonments as well as the areas under the cantonments."You [Maj (Retd) Mohammad Akhterujjaman] have been declared persona non grata in all the cantonments and areas under the cantonments," said a letter sent to Akhtaruzzaman. He was also asked not to contact any army personnel. The Daily Star got the letter through a fax sent from a business centre. Maj (Retd) Akhtaruzzaman acknowledged that he has got such a letter last night.
