Madrasa edn needs to be upgraded
Speakers tell training session
Speakers at a training session said Madrasa education should be upgraded so that it can meet the national demand, says a press release.They also put emphasis on the quality development of Arabic language. They were speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the training session on "Arabic Language and Islamic Education Teachers" organised by the Bangladesh National Commission for Unesco (BNCU) in association with Islamic Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ISESCO) in the city recently. The meeting was presided by Rehana Munni, assistant secretary, BNCU. Vice Chancellor of National University Prof Wakil Ahmed attended the programme as chief guest while Mostafa Kamal Majumder, editor of the Daily New Nation, spoke on the occasion. Thirty teachers from different madrasas and Islamic institutions across the country are taking part in the training session.
