Four arrested with smuggled medicine

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab), in a sudden drive, arrested four smugglers with huge Indian medicine from Ramchandrapur in frontier Panchbi upazila in the early hours of yesterday.Acting on a tip-off, the Rab members of Joypurhat camp, raided the house of Akbar Ali of Ramchandrapur at about 1:00am and recovered eight sacks of medicine, worth over Tk 8 lakh. They also arrested Akbar Ali, Abdul Khaleq, Sirajul Islam and Saiful Islam in this connection.
