Medicine looted from city hospital

A gang of robbers looted a huge quantity of medicine from the storeroom of the railway hospital at Shahjahanpur after stabbing a security guard in the early hours of yesterday. The injured security guard, Rassel Talukder, 25, was admitted to a city hospital with several cut wounds on his body. Police said a gang of about five robbers entered the medicine storeroom on the first floor of the railway hospital breaking open the lock between 2:00am and 2:30am after stabbing security guard Rassel on the ground floor. Sub-inspector of Government Railway Police Ramiz Uddin filed a case with Motijheel Police Station in this connection.
