Huge arms seized

Army recovered huge arms and ammunition from a terrorist den at Madhya Kanchanpur under Laxmichhari upazila in Khagrachhari district yesterday. Acting on a tip-off, army raided Maidhya Kanchanpur, a remote area of Laxmichhari upazila, at 4.30 m and recovered one M-16 pistol, one SBBL gun, two magazine and 267 fresh ammunition of M-16 pistol, security sources said. Sensing the presence of army, the criminals fled the den, leaving arms and ammunition.
