Vaughan's no to twin captains
Afp, London
England captain Michael Vaughan revealed Thursday he'd discussed his disappointing one-day international form with new England coach Peter Moores but said he didn't want the captaincy of the Test and limited overs teams to be split.Yorkshire batsman Vaughan, who has never scored a hundred in 86 one-day internationals, endured a mediocre World Cup in the Caribbean where England failed to reach the semi-finals. It has since been suggested the 32-year-old retire from limited overs internationals and concentrate on his Test career. "It's a situation me and Peter have talked about already," he told Sky Sports on Thursday. "We've tried a split captaincy before and it doesn't work," he added in a reference to Adam Hollioake's brief period as England one-day skipper in the 1990s.
