The doctors are Dr Jahirul Huq Manik and Dr Nazrul Islam of Surgery Department, Dr Sukriti Das of Neuro-surgery Department, Dr Abul Kasem of Urology Department, Dr G K Chakroborty of Gynecology Department, Dr Asit Baron Das of Gastro-anthology Department, Dr Rowshanara Begum of Gynecology Department, Dr Dewan Abdur Rashid of Endocrinology and Dr A K Moshtak of Pediatric Surgery Department and Khalilur Rahman of Skin and STD Department.

Golam Mahmud Selim of Medicine Department and Rajit Mallik of Surgery Department, two former principals of SBMC were also included in the transfer list, sources said.

Dr. Moniruzzaman, present director of SBMCH, claimed the transfer was a regular practice in government service. 'The vacant posts would be filled up as soon as possible', he said.
