I have read the news of the deaths of four patients at RMCH over the strike of the intern doctors there in the online edition of your paper. I wonder how these doctors dare to go on strike when the country is running under an emergency. We hope that there will be a thorough inquiry into the matter and the responsible will be brought to justice. It is time for the government to declare medical services as an emergency service. To my judgment, the medical service is one of our most undisciplined public sector agencies, preceded by education. We would be very happy to see the government framing a national health policy to ensure proper medical services to citizens.
