Dag Hammarskjold Medal for families of dead peacekeepers

The families of 47 Bangladeshi peacekeepers, who died while working in UN peacekeeping missions, were given the United Nations' Dag Hammarskjold Medal yesterday.Adjutant General of Bangladesh Army Major General M Matiur Rahman handed over the medals to the families at the auditorium of the Armed Forces Medical Institute. Senior army officials were present on the occasion, said an ISPR press release.
