Kallis to lead new faces

Jacques Kallis will lead South Africa during their one-day tour in Ireland, which includes an ODI against the hosts and three against India in Stormont, in place of the injured Graeme Smith. The selectors have also introduced five players who weren't part of the World Cup squad as they assess their options.

JP Duminy, a left-handed batsman from the Cape Cobras, is recalled while teammate Vernon Philander is handed his first international call-up. There is also a recall for wicketkeeper-batsman Morne van Wyk and Test paceman Dale Steyn, who is currently with Warwickshire, while the selectors continue to scour the cupboard for spin talent by trying Thandi Tshabalala's offspin.

Jacques Kallis (capt), Mark Boucher, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Herschelle Gibbs, Andrew Hall, Justin Kemp, Charl Langeveldt, Andre Nel, Makhaya Ntini, Vernon Philander, Dale Steyn, Thandi Tshabalala and Morne van Wyk.
