Two die while cleaning well in Bogra

A person and his nephew died from toxic gas inhalation while cleaning a well at Nepaltoli village in Gabtali upazila yesterday.The dead were identified as Farid Uddin, 35, and his nephew Mukul Mia, 25. Witnesses said Farid climbed down the well at around 10:30am to clean it. As there was no response from him after some time, his nephew Mukul also climbed down the well to search for his uncle. But nobody climbed up the well after a long time. On receiving information, fire fighters rushed to the spot and recovered a body at around 5:00pm. Recovery of other body is being delayed due to torrential rain in the area, local people said.
