Praiseworthy move

That two important organisations are going to be made autonomous by the present interim government is a significant development. For long, Bangladesh Betar and Bangladesh Television have been functioning as sycophants of every elected government and in many ways these two stations are a habitat of corruption and nepotism. So far all the governments have used Bangladesh Betar and Bangladesh Television for political purpose. These two state-run organisations may now function independently.
