Corruption vs. kindness

Some bizarre & amusing arguments are being put forward by certain groups in favour of the "successful" candidates against the backdrop of the gross corruption charges in the 27th BCS. Some are appealing to the govt. to consider the matter from a humanitarian point of view arguing that many of the successful candidates are about to get married! Now, if the result is cancelled, then what would happen to their proposed marriage? The cancellation of the result will lead to the cancellation of marriage! What a silly thing! If it is so, then what would happen to the rest of the deprived candidates? I am afraid they would never be able to get married.

If the successful candidates & their well-wishers urge the govt. not to cancel the results for sake of their wedding, (ignoring the charges of gross irregularities), then it is rational to surmise that they would only serve the interest of their would-be in laws. Secondly, they are trying to persuade the govt. by saying that many of them have already resigned from their previous jobs after the results. My humble question is, has the govt. asked them to quit their jobs? If not, what was the problem with continuing with the jobs? The medical test & the police verification don't require resigning from jobs. When they will be appointed (if not cancelled) finally, only then they will be required to resign.

I do believe that the govt. won't be misguided by such tricky arguments.
