Shafi Ahmed made envoy to UK

The government has decided to appoint Shafi U Ahmed, now serving as the Bangladesh high commissioner to Malaysia, as the country's next high commissioner to the United Kingdom.As a member of the 1979 batch, Ahmed has a distinguished career having served the foreign ministry and Bangladesh missions abroad in various capacities.
